Unikderm Cream 15gm is a combined medicine effective in the treatment of different types of skin infections. This is an antifungal preparation that acts by interrupting the growth of bacteria responsible for skin infection and minimizing inflammatory symptoms like swelling, redness, and itching. Unikderm Cream 15gm is formulated by combining five medicines Ketoconazole, Clobestasol, Clioquinol, Neomycin, and Tolnaftate. Ketoconazole and tolnaftate act by destroying the bacterial cell membrane or by killing the bacteria. Clioquinol acts by interacting with DNA synthesis thus killing the infection-causing fungi. Neomycin is an antibiotic that interrupts bacterial growth by blocking the synthesis of crucial proteins that bacteria need to perform various vital functions. Clobetasol is a steroidal preparation that showcases its activities by inhibiting the production of certain chemical messengers that promote sin redness, make it itchy, and swell.
- Unikderm Cream 15gm is for external use only.
- Apply Dermiford Cream only to the affected areas; if you accidentally get the cream in your eyes or mouth, wash it immediately with water.
- Strictly follow the dose and duration recommended by the doctor.
- Even if the infection seem to be treated, do not stop the medicine until the doctor tells you to. Complete the treatment course for proper efficacy.
